One look. Multiple camera pipelines. One simple workflow.
Moody Teal & Dust builds a cool teal-cyan environment around dusty warm neutrals, separated skin tones, and dense but readable shadows. Inspired by overcast skies, worn denim, and faded urban textures, it brings a quiet, lived-in atmosphere to documentary work, urban portraits, ambient b-roll, and understated narrative scenes.
The DCTL brings the complete look family into one Resolve effect. Select your camera profile or working color space, choose one of three curated variations, and adjust the Look Strength—all inside a single node.
Instead of manually combining technical transforms with separate camera-specific LUTs, the DCTL normalizes the selected input before applying the creative look. This creates a faster and more consistent workflow across supported cameras.
Three curated variations
Standard
The defining Moody Teal & Dust grade: cool teal shadows, dusty neutrals, controlled saturation, and natural contrast.
Warm
Introduces a gentle warmth into the midtones and highlights while preserving the cooler environmental palette.
Faded
Reduces contrast, softens saturation, and lifts the shadows for a quieter, more nostalgic finish.
Adjustable Look Strength
The LUT Strength control blends between a neutral Rec.709 conversion and the selected creative grade.
-
0% — neutral Rec.709 Gamma 2.4 output
-
100% — the complete selected look
-
Any value in between — a controlled, predictable balance
The creative character and tonal response remain connected, preserving the original intent of the grade at full strength.
