Kodak Gold Cineon – Film Emulation LUT

This LUT captures the isolated response of Kodak Gold 200, without scanner influence. It was built using a Cineon-style profiling process, designed to reflect only the stock’s native tonal and color behavior — no added contrast, saturation, or baked-in scanner bias.

To ensure accurate dye separation, the film was profiled using narrowband RGB exposures. Each color channel was isolated with controlled lighting to eliminate cross-talk and scanner-induced shifts, resulting in a clean, artifact-free representation of the film’s intrinsic color response.

A secondary version with a custom Rec.709 gamma 2.4 display transform is included for accurate viewing, mimicking the full R4A print pipeline while keeping colors faithful to the original stock.

Compatible with all editing software that supports LUTs — including DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and more. Includes .CUBE x65 (grading) and .CUBE x33 (monitoring) versions. Optimized for Sony S-Log3, Blackmagic Gen 5, ARRI LogC3, DJI D-Log M, and more.
